Facebook group to find out their favorite pet-friendly stores, patios and more. Here’s just a sampling of ways you can get your pup’s tail wagging while getting out and about in Berrien County!
Start Your Day Right at Mason Jar Cafe in Benton Harbor or Full Circle Cafe in Stevensville. As far as this thirsty pup is concerned, both of these Southwest Michigan cafes are a winner. You’ll love the fresh, from-scratch cooking; your pet will love the scene (and the water, of course.)
Grab A Brew At The Livery in Benton Harbor. Long a local staple, this brewery, restaurant and celebrated live-music venue also boasts a large outdoor beer garden, earning it points for furry-friend-friendliness.
Sip A Cider Or Seltzer At Peat’s Cider Social in Stevensville. A rotating menu of craft ciders and seltzers (of the adult variety) make this taproom, housed in a vintage bowling alley, a local favorite. While dogs aren’t allowed to bowl, the colorful outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy a drink – and perhaps a bite from an on-site food truck – with your favorite four-legged companion.
Shop For Household Essentials at Family Farm & Home in Benton Harbor. Whether you’re looking for lawn & garden essentials, tools, pet food, gifts, or a good pair of work boots, this shop has it all – and you don’t have to leave your best friend behind to browse the shelves.
